This is a set of vintage engineering article, diagrams and a photo engraving titled "Viaduct Over the Rio Malleco, Chili. Constructed by Messrs. Schneider and Co., Creusot." They are in excellent condition and were published in a British engineering journal and are dated October 21, 1898. There is a photo engraving of this railroad viaduct and several detailed diagrams showing the design of the steel girders and support piers. The accompanying article article describes the construction, and engineering involved in the bridge design in great detail.
