This item isn't pretty, it looks like it came out of an outside or garage environment. The metal plate has surface rust which doesn't interfere with the action of the cutter. It has mounts so it can be placed on a wall. The slot measures 1/8" x 1/2". The punch has a footprint of about 10 1/8" x 6". It stands about 5 3/4" high at the fixed portion of the unit. It's about 6 1/4" high at the highest point of the handle at rest. The spring action works smoothly. Illustrated is a paper slot in thin typing paper, plastic is better.
