This Edinburgh instruments Polarization Control Unit is used. The unit has been maintained in perfect working and cosmetic condition. Power needs to be supplied from an additional component (not supplied with this lot).
The unit will come supplied with an Operator's Manual.
The Polarization Control Unit is a dual width NIM modulem, which controls a motorized Glan prism mount on the 199S spectrometer and the Multichannel Analyzer (MCA) in the 199D data acquistion rack. It enables time resolved anisotropy measurement to be performed by acquiring data alternately in two memory segments for the two polarization directions.
