USED HARDINGE ADJUSTABLE KNEE TOOL
The adjustable knee tool is used for turning diameters.
The knee tool mounts directly into either a machine turret or a round shank tool holder.
Each unit is adjustable using a dial that is graduated in .001 increments. Each .001 adjustment will change the diameter of the workpiece .002 .
The adjustable knee tools are designed with a (12.70mm) bored hole located on the spindle centerline to permit machining combinations such as drilling and turning, or center drilling and turning, to be done from one turret station.
For sizes smaller than , HDB bushings may be used.
The DSM8 and small diameter work guide can be used with this tool to support a long, small-diameter workpiece while turning.
