Heritage Delaware Chicken Incubator Hatching Eggs 12+
Delaware breed line. These are not hatchery birds.
You will receive 12 eggs plus some extras just in case.
Delawares are listed as critically endangered with less than 500 registered breeding pairs in the US.
These are a great dual purpose bird that lays a large brown egg. They have a great temperament and do well free ranged or penned. All our girls have been great layers averaging 6 eggs per week. The boys have been getting to nice size averaging 7 1/2 pounds at butcher.
Delawares are a fast maturing bird with layers starting as early as 19 weeks.
The chicks have the potential to be raised for show.
We do guarantee fertile eggs but we cannot guarantee your success rate. Your eggs will be carefully packaged but once they leave our hands we cannot guarantee how they will be handled in transit.
