Description: Is a dual-channel electrosurgical generator that produces low power, monopolar RF energy at approximately 460khz. The generator delivers up to 15 watts of power per channel. The single channel mode is used for single-needle electrodes, the dual-channel mode is used for dual needle electrodes. The Somnus Model S2 RF Generator delivers a high frequency alternating current through an electrode needle into surrounding tissue.
