Here is a group of seven 1 1/8" hand taps of various mfg, and threads per inch. All range from either newly sharpened with cosmolene to good used condition. Designation of taper, plug, and bottoming is a judgment knowing that mfg design varies. Some have some typical shop debris and coloration, see pics .
