MM1702AQ NSC 2K EPROM RARE C1702A AM1702ADC 1702A Collectable IC
This is a Vintage and VERY RARE 2 Kbit (256x8 Bit) UV-Erasable PROM (EPROM). Fully TTL Compatible. Made by National Semiconductor (NSC). It is an exact clone (or equivalent) of Intel C1702A, AMD AM1702ADC, etc.
These 1702 EPROMs are from the very EARLY years of EPROM production. They are just from the beginning of Memory production and are VERY RARE and HARD TO FIND nowadays. This means it should be a very interesting item for Chip Collectors. In those years the EPROMs were REALLY expencive because the manifacturers used REAL GOLD inside the EPROMs. In chips like this one, some of the golden coating inside can be easily seen just beneath the window.
Condition - used. All these EPROMs are in very good or EXCELLENT condition, no scratches, all labels are clearly readable.
