New pneumatech ¼" bronze solenoid valves 300 psi 120V

Operation is Normally Closed. Nothing flows through the valve until electricity is applied to the terminals.
We acquired a few cases of these from an industrial liquidator earlier this year, and they are all brand new. Best I could determine, they were originally designed to automatically drain condensate from some kind of huge PneumaTech industrial air compressor. Possibly had a liquid level sensor that would cycle the valve on when water from condensation collected in the bottom of the air tank. I never found any additional factory specs except what is on the valves themselves. However, judging from the size of the solenoid and the way the internal body design looks through the ports, they probably have a fairly high rate of flow. I would expect that the internal flow rate is close to what the 1/4" NPT ports will carry.
The coil is Class A, Continuous Duty rated, so they would be handy for all sorts of rugged applications. The electrical terminal arrangement is designed for for one of those "hazardous location" 3-terminal female plugs. I don't know exactly what you call them, but they have three female slots in the same pattern as the male terminals on the valves. Once plugged in, a small screw in the center of the terminals holds the connector in place. These do not have the aforementioned female connector, but they are readily available from most retail industrial suppliers that sell solenoid valves. Alternatively, if you take a pair of pliers and "adjust" a few ordinary spade / quick connect terminals, it will put you in business a lot cheaper. The female crimp terminals will stay connected and work fine, assuming you are not wiring them for explosion proof specs, or using them around flammable materials and explosive vapors.
Width: Solenoid, including terminals - 2.245" Valve body - 2.165"
Thickness: Solenoid - 1.500" Valve body - 1.260"
Mounting screws: #10-32 x 5/16" spaced .600" OC (on centers)
Written on the solenoid label:
(CE & Underwriter's Recognized markings)
