New in the box, this column was received here sealed, with both sealing stickers fully intact. One of the sealing stickers was cut and the box opened for inspection. We do this with most chromatography columns, primarily to inspect the condition and to ensure all code numbers match. This column is guaranteed unused and was opened only briefly, and in a clean area, for picture/inspection. It is being stored in a clean, dry area. Includes the LC column performance report originally enclosed.
The column is guaranteed to be unused and looks to be quite new. However, there are no warranties given as to the suitability of, or results from, this column with any specific procedure.
Octadecylsilyl chain. A short, wide-bore column containing a unique and very advantageous media that is:
-Produced with a double-endcapping process that protects the silica from dissolution at up to pH 11.5.
A wide array of compounds can be separated. Zorbax Extend columns are best for separations of compounds that are either:
-Basic and have little or no retention at low to intermediate pHs
-More stable or more soluble at high pH
-Basic and show poor peak shape at low to intermediate pH.
