For sale is a refurbished Intimus (aka Martin Yale) 16.50 Cross Cut Industrial shredder. This unit is only a few years old and runs flawlessly. It was originally purchased to start a mobile shredding service however the original owner went out of business. We repurchased the unit, did what little fixing up was necessary, and are ready to resell it. The unit comes with an already-installed automatic oiler which is a necessity in high volume situations. These industrial shredders are designed to be run all day long and provide 20+ reliable years of operation.
A new Intimus 1650 runs about $35,000 delivered. This one is in spectacular shape with an automatic oiler and we're only asking for approximately half that. Please no offers, we are very firm on the price. The technicians who refurbished it are factory trained and reported that it required nothing more than a standard cleaning. Since we are factory authorized/trained technicians, this unit is considered factory refurbished.
Although we cannot accept returns on a unit this big, we do offer a non-DOA Guarantee. If for any reason this unit will not operate when you receive it, we will dispatch our nationwide service to make it work. Please note the electrical requirements! We will not accept a return because you discovered your location cannot support 220v/3p power. Otherwise I encourage you to ask questions about this listing!
