The Rotar Cleaner can be used for many applications:
Reclaiming lead bullet fragments at outdoor firing ranges
Reclaiming shell casings at outdoor firing ranges
Recycling of demolition waste material
The Rotar Cleaner can pick up, screen and dump out material in one continuous movement. The Rotar Cleaner may only be used to pick up loose materials like sand and rubble. You have to take care that the bricks are never bigger than 5% of the capacity. It is also allowed to pick up paving stones from the street. The Rotar Cleaner is to be used in combination with a carrier machine (wheel loader or excavator).
This Rotar Cleaner was purchased and received in July 2002. Original purpose as purchased was for the reclamation of spent lead bullets at the City of Mesa Police gun range. The device was never implemented and has been on the pallet it was received on since 2002.
The Rotar Cleaner is operated by a hydraulic valve. This valve regulates three independent functions: Locking the drum, Opening and closing the drum, Rotating the drum forward and backward.
From the cabin of the carrier machine one of the above mentioned functions can be chosen with one electric switch. The strainers on both sides of the drum take care that the drum is closed during the turning and is opened during the dumping.
