Linear Access XR-1 and XT-1: 1-Channel Mid-range Digital Transmitter and Receiver Pair
The XT-1 transmits a digital supervised signal to the XR-1 receiver. When the XT-1 transmitter leads are connected together, the receiver closes its switch output leads. When the trasnmitter leads are disconnected the receiver's switch turns off. Basically this system operates as a remote wireless switch. You can attach any trigger you want to the transmitter; anything that is capable of closing a switch will work. You can also turn on any electric or electronic device you want from the receiver switch output. Applications include remote triggering, security, surveillance, remote monitoring, remote alarms, and process control.
Has a 10 mile LOS range when used with three-foot whip antennas.
