I have an opportunity to purchase a local golf course. The course has 18 holes with several lake ponds. The tract has 155 single home lots and 66 condo building sites. The zoning is for an Over 55 Community. The course is located about 7 miles from the University of Georgia. There are 135 total acres. The price is right!!! Bank forced sale although it is not in foreclosure.
What I need is up to $1,500,000 of investment capital. I am willing to offer an annual return of 11% with the investors being taken out within three years.
I have a copy of an appraisal that was done in mid 2009 which I will be glad to share with any investor. A board seat would be available for a large investor.
Initial funds will be placed in trust with my attorney until they are needed for closing.
