* Model: AE Swing-Away T-51 for the AB Dick 8800 Printing Press
* Condition: Extremely Nice. This came off of a VERY nice 8800. This is a nice 2nd Color Head that will serve the new owner very well!
* Note: This is the AE (Anniversary Edition) version which has some upgrades from the standard T-51 such as plate tilt on the fly.
* Profit: The average small shop outputs 30,000 impressions per day. If you have a second color on each impression, at even just $5.00 per thousand additional revenue, your T-51 will bring $150 per day in additional income to your shop.
* Overlays: Screen tints can be overlayed for many special effects. Type over screens, duo-tones and process color are fine applications of the T-51.
* Solids: Excellent performance on solid color. A positive should be used to drop out the background under a heavy solid overlay. Overlapping is not necessary because both colors are locked in register on the same blanket.
* Inks: No special inks necessary.
* Installation: Usually, it takes only a few hours to install and train an operator. No drilling of holes required. Brackets attach the T-51 firmly to parent press.
* Set-Up Time: A two-color job takes less time than setting up the same job once for each color. No clean-up time necessary from the first color to second.
* Operator Training: Any operator will quickly adapt to operating the T-51. Basic controls are quickly mastered.
* Paper: The T-51 plate cylinder contacts only the blanket, not the paper, so sheet size capacity is the same as the parent press. Coated stocks and gummed labels are as easy to run two-color as they are single-color.
* Envelopes: Two-color envelope printing is much more efficient than running envelopes a second time for second-color.
* With the T-51 you can produce two-color work, with precise register, with one pass through the press. There is no need to wait for the first color to dry before running the second one. There is no second-color register waste & two-color production is nearly doubled!
* Four-color processes can be produced in just two passes!
* You can print single-color on your offset press by simply disengaging the T-51. The T-51 one can then standby until your next run.
* If that isn't satisfying, you can print single-color with the T-51!
* Takes up no more floor space than your offset press.
* Applications include: business cards, letterheads, envelopes, two-color thermography, duo-tones and/or all your two-color & four color work
* Uses all the same inks, fountain solutions, plates & other printing supplies as your current press.
