You are looking at a product used for many things! HVAC guys use it to insulate pipes in some wet or freezing locations. Tractor trailor truck drivers use it for an emergency patch when the metal on the roof of the trailor has started leaking or has lost it's seal and is allowing rain in, (i suppose one could use it to patch the roof on a mobile home also).
Roofers use the product for sealing around skylights, roof penitrations, attic vent fans, and around chimneys.
Other uses are; on metal roofs that are rusting or not restraining water any more, insulation for new construction, metal roof installs, and rubber roof patching.
The young people use this product to insulate trunk space when they have big speakers pounding enough to rattle the plate off the car.
This product is sold in specialty stores with plumbing or roofing supplies for $32.47 - $68.98 each roll depending on the application it's used for. A friend of mine is shutting down his company because of the economy, and he asked me to list some of his products to liquidate his stock.
The Product is an aluminum backed, tar-adhesive, sticky-tape that is separated by a gray film cover on the bottom side as it rolls out.
