24 barnyard mix hatching eggs with marans
24 Fertile Hatching Eggs from my Barnyard Mix pens. These hens are Blue Marans, Blue Copper Marans, Golden Laced Cochin, Black Ameraucana, and Black Copper Marans. The roosters are Blue Copper Marans, Black Cochin, Black Copper Marans and Black Americauana. These pens have my chickens I want to breed as purebreds, but do not have separate pens to keep them in at this time. Sometimes I put purebreds from my other pens in this mix too if I have extras. All my chickens are Purebred lines, but what you will get from these eggs will be mixed. It is possible you will get some purebred in the mix. Some of the eggs are very dark chocolate brown (Marans), some green, some various shades of brown and some almost white. I get a lot of the very dark brown eggs. I posted a picture of the eggs in my basket. This should make a beautiful basket of eggs. If you have a preference of egg color, please let me know and I will try to include more of that color, if they are available. You should get some interesting colors and patterns in the chicks. They are healthy happy chickens and will make a very colorful flock.
All my birds are tested and certified. I will include a copy of my certification with your eggs, if you request.
Please let your eggs set at room temperature in a carton overnight, or at least 8 hours, to let the tiny bubbles settle out. This will increase your hatch rate considerably.
Dear Helen, Just want to follow up on my chickens from your barn yard mix. I ended up with several purebreds and the most beautiful chickens ever. Can't wait to start collecting eggs.
