Nikon microscope with 4 objective lenses. All of the objective lens are also nikon and I'll describe now: First lens has a red band with a 4 and a 0.l in smaller print underneath that; The second lens has a yellow band with a 10 and 0.25 written in smaller print underneath that; The third lens has "s 40 PLAN .65 .17" written on it; On the fourth lens is written "OIL A 100/1.25 160". When you look into the microscope the right eyepiece has a pointer that extends to the middle of the image. The distance between the eyepieces can be varied. The light on the microscope works and is variable brightness. The microscope has a #22 hand engraved on the back of the neck.
I am not a scientist but as far as I can tell everything on this microscope works properly. I have tested all the objective lens including the oil immersion lens (using the included immersion oil) by looking at a human hair. The microscope has good contrast and brightness.
Included with the microscope : One replacement bulb for microscope (tested working), two packs of optical tissue, one box of cover glass, one box of micro slides, one bottle of Type A immersion oil, 1/2 bottle of optical lens cleaner, and a small plastic magnifying glass (not pictured).
