Great for any business that deals with rock or stone.
Description : Each unique plaque is individually handcrafted for you at T. Michael Studios from weathering grey slate. Rustic, Hand-cut slate with natural chipped edges. Around 1/4" thick. (Picture may look thicker) irregular shape, Sand engraved. Cut slit through the slate holds cards upright. Fits approximately 10 to 15. Cork tabs on bottom. Slate finishes may vary due to natural coloring of rock. Additional pics... /Office

Each piece of slate is very special. Most of the slate I use has been reclaimed from Historical buildings and barns throughout the heartland. Every piece that leaves my studio has a history of its own, and a journey that it has taken. Once I receive it, I sculpt it and mold it into a new form for someone who now will use it to enhance their life and create a new history with their family.

Slate :Coloring : Grey (Slate finishes may vary due to natural coloring of rock) History : Slate is a very durable rock formed in the earth over 400 millions ago. It has a very low absorption rate to water, which makes it great for outdoor conditions. Even with it's thin properties, it very durable and strong which is why its used in many industrial applications, such as : roofing, pool tables and blackboards.
