5 Band Graphic Stereo Equalizer IC
SZIP24 Package, which is basically two rows of 12 pins
Each IC has two channels, and the five center frequencies for each channel are independently set using external capacitors.
The BA3824LS has about an 11dB boost and cut in gain per band
Low parts count, 10 electrolytic capacitors, 14 film, 5 resistors and 10 50k ohm linear pots.
This is a Great DIY Project!!!
Make yourself a Graphic EQ, MOd it, make something cool with it!
I wouldn't suggest this being a project for beginners only because etching a circuit board might take some skill.
