* The UltraBlaster, a USB download cable, is a 100%-compatible drop-in replacement for Altera USB-Blaster programming cable (specifically: USB-Blaster II, Rev. C, the most current version, refer to http:// /literature/ug/ug_usb_blstr.pdf).
The UltraBlaster download cable allows to program and configure Altera devices.

The UltraBlaster download cable supports target systems using 5.0 V TTL, 3.3 V LVTTL/LVCMOS, and single-ended I/O standards from 1.2 V to 3.3 V.
The UltraBlaster is powered directly from the host USB port and the target system without the need for additional external power supply.
Because the UltraBlaster is a 100%-compatible drop-in replacement for Altera USBBlaster programming cable, any of the following software packages supporting USBBlaster also recognize UltraBlaster:
* Quartus II software version 4.0 or later (for development, device programming, and configuration)
* Quartus II Programmer (standalone version for programming and configuration)
* Quartus II SignalTap II Logic Analyzer (standalone version for logic analysis)

We also have another debug tool -UART-Debugger for serial port debug. UART-Debugger is a semi-duplex debug tool which monitors communications between the control device and the target device for development of GPS and GSM products. UART Debugger provides two pairs of serials ports which accommodates all the debug needs.
Usage model: Monitor device (debugger s computer) is connected to USB port. Control device (micro-controller, DSP, FPGA, etc) connected to one RS-232C COM or TTL COM. Target device (GPS or GSM module) is connected to another RS-232C COM or TTL COM. Monitor device monitors data on the serial bus and inject data if it is necessary.
