Dressing complex forms on cylindrical, surface, tool and cutter grinder wheels with guaranteed .0001 accuracy is easy with a micrometer fed J&S Fluidmotion Wheel Dresser. You won t believe how simple it is, even for a beginner, to dress two angles tangent to a radius in one continuous motion with only one setting. Better still, the diamond will automatically return to the center position after dressing the angles.
This is not new, Fluidmotion dressers have been consistently performing in this manner since J&S introduced the first model over 60 years ago. Quality proven and tested, many of these original, American made units are still performing with outstanding accuracy after being rebuilt at our facility.
No need to pre-set diamond or use any other tool except a micrometer and a simple hex wrench. No Gage Block Master Gage setting Jo Block Parallel Bar Surface Plate Height Gage Dial indicator. No movement of dovetails necessary to form angles. The angle is dressed by continuing to push handle in both directions after radius is formed. No need to use Gibs & V-Ways other than positioning surfaces.

If the models desired in this catalog do not answer your particular grinding requirements, special dressing equipment can be furnished to your specifications to dress wheels up to 42 in diameter.
Hold Intersecting angles 12 to 15 seconds. This is accomplished by operating upright and handle.
Setting up two angles requires 10 seconds. Setting two angles and radius requires less than 3 minutes.
