The Flexi-Cool mechanical refrigeration systems provide a variety of on-the-spot probe configurations and controlled low temperatures to permit the user to select the proper combination of features to MATCH applications requirements. The Flexi-Cool concept satisfies cooling requirements in the laboratory which can be applied as easily as one now uses heaters. A refrigeration compressor is hermetically sealed to a cooling robe by means of a rugged stainless steel flexible tube. This flexible connecting tube is coaxial to permit liquid refrigerant to be pumped through the center capillary to the tip of the hermetically sealed probe.
The liquid refrigerant expands to a gas, absorbs heat, cools the probe and returns to the compressor through the outer portion of the coaxial line. The refrigeration system is air cooled. The only service is an electrical power source.
