Reprosil vinyl polysiloxane impression material is a degassed material with hydrophilic surface characteristics and excellent dimensional accuracy and detail. It is particularly well suited for impressions of teeth prepared for indirect inlays, onlays, posts and cores, crowns and fixed bridges, as well as both partial and complete removable prosthodontics.
High tensile strength and material rigidity, superior resilience and elasticity are among the properties that let Reprosil materials capture every detail the first time. Its hydrophilic formula spreads easily into point-angles and line-angles and is less likely to distort or tear when removed. Caulk's convenient cartridge dispenser for light, regular, heavy body and putty consistencies eliminates mixing, and minimizes mess and waste, so you save valuable time in preparation and cleanup. Once you've taken the impression, you can pour immediately after disinfection procedures. A hydrogen gas scavenger added to the material eliminates bubble formation on the surface of dies and models.
