Monarch engine metal lathe 24.5"X102" 15HP taper 3 jaw
Used Monarch 16" metal lathe. Swing is 24.5" over ways and CtC is 102". It has speeds 28-1200 RPM and threading 2-120 tpi. It is 15 HP currently wired for 480volt 3 phase but could be rewired for 220v. This lathe is equipped with a 13" Buck 3 jaw chuck, taper attachment, coolant pump, repaired steady rest, Mccrosky 4 position turret toolholder, removable chip pans, and carriage stop. It has 1/4 turn backlash in the crossfeed and 1/8 turn in the compound. This is a clutch drive lathe making it easier to run on a phase converter. All functions have been tested and work fine. It was built in 1956. The spindle is a D1-6 camloc with a bore of 1 5/8". The ways look good. Call (***)-750-1403 if you have questions. Weight is about 6500lbs.
