These knives fit under the presser foot screw. The knife has a spring below the knife, so as you sew off you simply pull the threads up and through the spring and the knife cuts the threads and the spring holds the threads until the next item is sewed.
The knife saves you picking up your scissors each time you sew off. The knives, will last a very long time, and only require that you clean the spring out occasionally.
Although these knives were designed for Industrial Sewing, they may also fit some Home Sewing Machines, which do not have thread trimmers, but have a presser foot screw which is long enough to mount the knife.
I think anyone, who does a lot of sewing, will really appreciate this type of knife. And will receive many years of service from it. Not to mention the time spent trimming threads with your scissors. It is well worth trying!
I have included pictures of different angles of the knife itself, and I have also shown several photos of it mounted to a machine.
