SDC 917 Entry Check Access Control Indoor Keypad
(quantity 1, front and back shown in photo for ID purposes only)
SDC model 917 Programmable Keypad
This was part of a nationwide retrofit for a major high tech firm (see specs below listing)
Keypad condition: used but otherwise in great shape. A little paint (easily removable) on edges. Comes with programming instructions and master code.
SDC 917 Series Integrated Digital Keypad, Single Gang, 120 PIN Codes
917 SDC Integrated Digital Keypad, 1 Gang, 120 Users, 12/24V AC/DC, 1 relay, 4 aux outputs, panic, tamper lockout
Up to 120, 1-6 digit codes programmable from the keypad
Anti-tamper keypad lockout
The easy to operate EntryCheck 917 incorporates four separate outputs that are controlled by 120 PIN codes. Should an employee be terminated, that individuals code may be deleted, eliminating the need to distribute a new code to all employees.
Codes stored in EEPROM memory and cannot be lost in power failure
Immune from electromagnetic interference
Latching or momentary outputs
Yellow LED, keypress indicators
Red/Green/Yellow status indicators
Disable individual PIN codes
The main relay output #0 and voltage outputs #1, #2 and #3 may be programmed as momentary or latching (on -off). When programmed for latching, outputs alternate position every time the correct code is entered.
Momentary timer operation is programmable for 1 -255 sec.
The user selects which output(s) to associate with every code or REX input. Different user codes and the REX input can have their own distinct output(s). Individual codes may be used to accomplish tasks, and can function independently of each other.
The main relay output #0 can control almost any kind of device including magnetic locks, electric strikes, industrial equipment or security systems.
Use outputs #0 through #3 to indicate duress or panic or to drive an external auxiliary relay or LED.
Key active output #4 can be used to activate a relay for a lamp or camera.
The SDC 917 EntryCheck is simple to operate. When a valid code is entered, the self-contained electronics will direct it to its programmed output(s).
For access control applications, a request-to-exit button can be added and programmed to activate any output(s).
For alarm control applications, enter a valid user code to arm or disarm, or use different code to shunt or bypass an alarm zone. If enabled, you can press the # and * keys to trigger a panic condition which can be programmed to any output(s).
When enabled, the keypad active output turns on when the first key is pressed
SDC 917 Operating Codes: Any one of the 120 operating codes can be programmed to activate any or all of the four available outputs.
Panic: Triggered when the # and * are pressed simultaneously. This special code can be programmed to any output(s) #0 through #3.
Programming Codes: This is a user-selectable master code. It must be entered before any programming may be accomplished. This prevents the tampering of codes by unauthorized personnel.
Request-to-Exit: A simple normally open request-to-exit button can be used to allow a timed exit from a protected area without using a code.
