0.6~60 sec power-up control / timer ncc Z1T-00060-065

(1) National Controls Corp Model: Z1T-00060-065
Adjustable 0.6 to 60 Seconds "Delay on Make" Timer
2-1/8" W x 3-5/8" D x 1-3/4" H
This is an adjustable (0.6 to 60 seconds) "Delay on Make" timer. The time delay begins when 240 VAC is applied to the Input Terminals. The DPDT power relay is energized on timeout and holds until reset. Removing power resets the circuit.
The relay contacts are electrically isolated from the 240 VAC circuit.
This could be just the ticket for smooth power-up control of a HF HAM radio linear power supply by shunting a secondary surge resistor after a second or two.
The heart of this Z1T-00060 timer is a Motorola MC14541B Programmable Timer. [It looks like it could be modified to operate on 120 VAC or perhaps 12 VDC by changing the 15K limit resistor and the relay, but I don't have the time to investigate right now. A project for a DIY experimenter.] The PCB has a few unused holes which may be used in different models. The datasheet does not show this -065 240 VAC version, but it seems everything else matches.
These are UNUSED surplus assemblies. We guarantee them for 30 days.
