Acugauge 521G Backflow Preventer Test Kit
Since its initial market introduction in 1999, the Acugauge 521G Backflow Preventer 3-Valve Test Kit has been the reliable alternative to the more expensive 5-valve kits, making it the preferred equipment of certified backflow testers. The new Acugauge 521G backflow test gauge has been optimized at the critical 5-2-1 PSID pressure points in accordance with the standards set forth by both the AWWA and the USC for faster, more accurate test results.
The Acugauge 521G Backflow Preventer Test Kit is a 3-valve differential pressure gauge engineered and designed for testing the following backflow preventer assemblies:
Pressure Vacuum Breaker (PVB)
Atmospheric Vacuum Breaker (AVB)
Spill-resistant Pressure Vacuum Breaker (SPVB)
Large 41/2" diameter, easy-to-read Differential Pressure Gauge optimized at the critical 5-2-1 PSID pressure points for faster more accurate testing; scale: 0 -15 PSID
(2) Instrument-grade shut-off ball valves - one on high pressure side and one on vent hose
(1) Precision, ergonomic needle valve on low pressure side of gauge, specifically callibrated to work on backflow testing equipment
Adapters: (3) 1 4" x flare adapters for use on smaller backflow assemblies
Adapters: (3) 1 2" x 1 4" adapters for use on mid-size backflow assemblies
