These Aspen wood fiber blankets are an affordable option. Longer than the competition, for big jobs. Wood fibers fight erosion by breaking up rainfall and reducing runoff. Clings to the soil to provide a mulch layer for re-vegetation. Netting and thread are non-woven nylon material, with Aspen shaving filaments, to biodegrade completely.

QUESTION: How is the fabric installed?
ANSWER: The Curlex blanket is rolled out with the netting side up. It will come off the roll this way. Recommended to stake the blanket down with approx. 1.5 to 4 anchor pin every sq.yd depending on soil types. The fabric can be installed vertically or horizontally on gradual slopes. On steep slopes of greater than 1.5:1 the blanket should be installed vertically. Overlap a minimum of 6" and trench in at the top of the slope and at 100' intervals.
