The HAWK is a K-band Moving and Stationary Radar with same and opposite direction moving modes. It also has a VASCAR function that allows you to clock a vehicle using timing, not the radar signal. It also has Fastest/Slowest vehicle selection in Same Lane mode.
The HAWK is pretty cool, you can clock vehicles in four directions: In Front of the Patrol Car Moving in the Same Direction, In Front of the Patrol Car Approaching from the Opposite Direction, Behind the Patrol Car Moving in the Same Direction, and Behind the Patrol Car Moving in the Opposite Direction
Depending on operational mode selected, the graphical display on front panel shows the patrol car and the position of target vehicle. The graphical display makes it easy to know what mode you in. This unit works fine, and was in use until last week. Guaranteed not DOA.
