* Interactive Mode: Provides direct access to the host application through the terminal. Collects and time-stamps data and sends it to the host for processing. Includes an extensive command interface which affords control of all hardware (display, keys,media, etc.) to the host.
* Prompt Mode: Shifts burden of operator prompting and initial data qualification from the host to the terminal. Displays prompts, accepts data,
* Interactive Prompt Mode: A mix of terminal and host processes. Applies flexibility to systems running online with the host, and includes the ability to transition to complete prompting mode for continued data collection if host or database is offline.
