Bay city 3/4 swing cranemobile tractor shovel
Several years ago, we saved this shovel from the junker's torch with grand visions of restoring it. The machine was purchased new on September 30, 1940 by the Keener Sand Company in Gallipolis, OH and remained there until we moved it from the site. I am 48 years old and I can remember it operating in my teens and possibly later. The Bay City Crane Company still exists in a limited fashion and they think that this is one of two rubber tired units still in existence.
