John deere 630 lp standard 1 of 16 made in minnesota
John Deere 630 LP Standard. 1 of 16 Built. Serial Number 6305310. This is the 9th of the 16 Made. This tractor was found near Salina Kansas only 20 miles from where it was sold new. It was used up until the late 1970s on an 8 acre Hay Field. Thats what it spent its life doing was working hay. It sat in the shed from the Late 1970s up until apx 2 years ago. All it needed was a new set of tires (old ones were dry rotted) and a fresh tune up of points, plugs, battery, and Two New LP Valves that come through the dash. Once that work was done it started and ran like the day it left the factory. The tach stopped working last year at 3080 hours. I have maybe put 3 hours on it total. So it has apx 3083 Actual Hours. It has been repainted once in its life, but my personal opinion would be to leave it just as it is. Its only 1 of 16 and very few of the 16 got such an easy life as this one did. It has a fixed front end, No Rockshaft, but it does have PTO. Heavy Duty Drawbar with Original Hammer Strap. Power-Steering Works Perfectly, Brakes work, Lights Work, Gauges Work, Fenders are Near Perfect, They have some very small holes drilled in the tops, but there arent very many. Hood is Perfect, The nose has one single ding in it on the flywheel side. Upright Airstack. Correct Front and Rear Rims. The Rear Rims has some rust through around the valve stem, its not very much and isnt poking at the tube and the tube isnt coming out, the tractor did some plowing and held just fine.
This is a rare chance to own a legit 630 LP Standard. I have seen two others this year that were fakes and didnt have good tags, this one left the factory as an LP Standard.
I have a great mate to this tractor listed as well, the First 630 All Fuel Standard. These are a very remarkable and fun pair of tractors.
