The HP 8447E power amplifier is the companion to the 8447D Preamplifier, providing 22 dB of gain from 100 kHz to
1.3 GHz. The 8447E provides gain and power to overcome systematic RF losses, drive high-power devices and improve
measurement system performance. The 8447E can be used to increase low-level sweep speed and increase dynamic
range measurements when used with a network analyzer.
The 8447E Broadband Power Amplifier is solid-state offering improved reliability. Designed into a small, lightweight package,
this broadband amplifier provides low noise, wide bandwidth, flat frequency response, and low distortion. Response of 75kHz
to 1.4GHz with 3 dB bandwidth and 22 dB 1.5 dB gain.
