1" diameter half-round groove was designed to ride the length of 1" diameter round stock, perhaps to make a rail carrier mechanism. It can also be used with aircraft cable, giving the pulley the ability to operate at wide angles to cable center line without the concern for cable rubbing the edges of the groove which can cause friction and premature wear on both the cable and pulley itself. In other words, pulley alignment isn't as critical with these wide half-round pulleys as compared to all other pulleys we offer which have much narrower cable grooves.
