Professional universal eprom programmer conitec galep-5
The Galep-5 is a professional universal programmer used for development, service and mobile component programming.
The programming algorithms run on an internal 200 MIPS ARM-9 processor under Embedded Linux. The processor directly controls the pin drivers via an FPGA, which ensures the perfect adaptation of the components to the programming algorithms. The internal 64 MB RAM serve as data storage and allows you to transfer the data only once for programming multiple devices.
All supported chips can be programmed directly in DIP/DIL packages and suitable adapters are available for specialized packages such as PLCC, SOP, TSOP and QFP.
* USB PoweredGALEP-5 is powered through the USB bus and does normally not require any additional power supply. The USB current limit of 500mA is kept. Some old NMOS components and some microcontrollers consume more than 500 mA. Those components are marked in the software. For ensuring USB compatibility we recommend to use the included power supply, or insert batteries (6xAAA) for such components.OK
* Security featuresPrior to each function, the Galep-5 checks the electric selected device's electric consumption, as well as the correct positioning of the selected component. This reduces the risk of accidentally harming the component or the programmer to a minimum.OK
