Alignment Pin crucial in order to properly reinstall the oil filter/water intercooler housing. Not using this Alignment Pin may cause misalignment during this procedure, which may lead to the oil pressure relief valve sticking and ultimately engine damage. Applicable: Porsche model - 944 1983 -'86.
