It has good shape factor and provides improved CW and RTTY reception
In its standard format it was designed to fit the Icom IC-735, IC-751A , IC-720A transceivers and the R71A/E receiver
However it can also be modified to fit the same footprint as the Icom FL-101 250Hz filter.

This article shows the steps to convert a soldering type filter like the FL-63A into its plug in type equivalent like the FL-101.
These filters are electrically identical and are designed for the same IF.
This modification would make the filter suitable for use in the following pieces of Icom equipment.
IC-575, IC-706, IC-725, IC-737, IC-746, IC-756, IC-775, R-72, R-75.
The filter was used temporarily in my R75 and had the wire legs bent to fit but I straightened the legs upon removing it from the receiver.
As you can see from the picture, it is in its original box
