N3ZI frequency counter digital dial for vintage radios

This is a Vintage radio version of my very popular frequency counter kit. It will work with most vintage radios with VFO's up to 30 MHz, operation is possible in the 6 meter band, but some compromises are needed, email me for details.
Works with virtually ANY HF radio.
Here are some examples of the varios radios that people have used it with, but this is only a partial list, as long as the VFO is under 45MHZ it will work with your radio.
Swan 260 270 270B 300B 350 350C 400 500 500CX 700CX 700S 750CW
Hammarlund HQ-100 HQ-105 HQ-110 HQ-120 HQ-129 HQ-140 HQ-145 HQ-150 HQ-160
HQ-170 HQ-180 HQ-200 SP-400 SP-600
During normal operation, a button is pushed to toggle through the different IF's You only need to activate the exact number of IF's needed for your radio. For example most SWAN radios require two IF's, one for 80 and 40 meters, and another one for the other bands. So pushing the button will toggle between the two settings. The correct setting will be obvious because the entire frequency is displayed, not just the KHz, i.e. 14.240.0 The supplied buttons are mounted on the back of the PCB, but the can be remotely mounted, and any SPST, NO pushbutton switches. Only ONE button is needed for band change, 2 are need for setup only.
This is a KIT. You must know how to solder, and supply wire and solder. There are 2 boards. The LCD Module is approx 4.87 x 1.25 inches. and is assembled and tested. The counter PCB is 3.125 x 1.375 inches and is in kit form. The two boards are connected together by 9 wires soldered at both ends. A cable kit is available, contact us for details.
The assembly and operation manual is here
* All components show on the schematic below included in kit, including PCB.
* Measures VFO frequencies up to 30MHz & displays operating Frequency up to 99 MHz.
* You supply, solder & wire only.
* No surface mount components to solder.
* Simple, straight through connections to LCD module.
* Operates from AC (6v-13v) or DC(8v-18v) power source, 10 mA Current draw.
* 10 separate Programmable IF frequencies, and VFO mode (VFO+IF, VFO-IF, IF-VFO)
* 2 pushbuttons included for programming IF's and Formula.
* All programmable options stored in non volatile EEPROM, so they only have to be set once.
* Requires approx. 300mV rms. to count.
* uCode, includes anti jitter s/w which prevents LSD from jittering between two values.
NOTE: This kit includes an LCD, no other LCDs supported in this kit.
For kits with universal LCD support click on the link below.
Includes all components in above schematic, plus PCB
