Factory-New "AA Battery" hand held tester will test:
Fluorescent Lamps for viable gas
Mercury and Metal Halide Lamps
BONUS USE: Use the Tester to check and verify the color of Neon Tubes as well as the color of LEDs
*Comes with a belt clip carrying case and features a quick release velcro hold down - perfect for on-the-job carrying.
*The fantastic time-saving feature of this tester is you can make tests without removing the Lamp/Tube. Of course you can also test a loose uninstalled Lamp/Tube. Bottom line, preform tests where ever at any time.
*To use the tester, simply touch the antenna to the Lamp/Tube and press the test button. The tester will cause a viable Lamp/Tube to illuminate in a pulsating manner.
*How it works: This tester works by emitting a static charge through the antenna. When the antenna is placed on a gas filled tube and activated, the tube will illuminate, thus verifying a viable tube.
*Slim design is 7" in length. Antenna extends to 9".
*Great feature: While testing, the tester makes the test tube blink on and off. This feature is great when testing tubes/Bulbs outside in bright sunlight, making it easier to see.
*The grip features a moulded-in slip resistant design.
