BUCHEIMER Police Leather Single Ticket Citation Book
J. M BUCHEIMER Co, one of the older names in the holster and leather goods industry, started business back in 1884. They originally dealt in the equestrian market, and made one mean bullwhip.
They were one of the earliest "mass" producers, and in regards to leather holsters and other products, they put out a quality goods that saw the nation thru 2 World Wars. They held military contracts and were sought after for police equipment as well. A family owned business, it looks like they began to run into trouble in the late 1960s and it appears that the company went thru a merger with CLARK holsters for a time and I even see some 1970's associations with TANDY CORP.
This plays H*ll trying to make heads or tails of their catalog reference numbers, which seem to change almost every other year. About 1990 or so, it looks like Bucheimer could not keep up with the big three holster makers that had emerged and they ceased business. Their vintage items are classics in design and cut from thick quality leather.

This is a Police Duty type Citation Holder, made to hold a single citation pad up to 9" x 4".
This is a HEAVY DUTY ALL LEATHER book, their model 24W and features DOUBLE POCKETS for holding competed paperwork and other items. A hard plastic/fiber writing plate makes sure you are not impressing the other tickets and creates a firm writing surface.
This book is light, can fit in a rear oversized uniform pants pocket and is designed to make citing fast, organized, and easy. It is made to last a career or two, and will last years of being contemptuously thrown onto your dashboard after banging a violator that really deserved it.
So hey, if someone is gonna get a ticket, somebody might as well be comfortable with it.
The BASKETWEAVE pattern is a match for other BUCHEIMER leather gear and most standard police leather.
