This item was tested to power on and light up but could not get anything to come up on the display, I think you may need a host unit like a cash register to test it to that extent. Comes with the power supply, power cable, numerical keypad, and this receiver type box in the middle that everything hooks up to. This pole display is a vacuum-fluorescent display that has four lines with 20 character spaces each. During testing I hooked up an omnidirectional scanner to the box, which gave power to the scanning device.
