The KS-2000 is a Broad Band Three component (V, NS,EW) Seismometer, with a frequency range of 0.01 to 50 Hz, output of 2000 v (m/sec), an excellent broadband seismometer, manufactured by one of the premier seismometer manufacturers in the world. The KS-2000 is currently selling for over $7000 new from Geotech. The pricing is based primarily on the seismometer. Beautiful Geotech Orange finish, this is KS-2000, serial number 142, Assembly number 990-60400-0101.
The Systems Design DAS, GPS receiver and VDaq/ViSeis software was over $4000 new back in 2001. This 24 bit Analog/Digital conversion unit does require a parallel printer port for connection to a Pentium level PC Computer. Finally a use for that computer you have sitting over in the corner.
