Hf low pass filter with SO239 connectors
This is a HF low pass filter with SO239 connectors.
The filter is supplied with a test sheet detailing measurements made on the unit.
Typical insertion loss from DC to 30 MHz is 0.5 dB with isolation between the ports of 45 dB.
This filter isn't the usual amateur low pass filter. The design is based on a special filter we make for a large defence contractor to eliminate interference on HF transceivers from nearby 3 GHz radar installations. The typical filter gives better than 60 dB attenuation on the VHF FM broadcast band with better than 45 dB attenuation up to and including the 1296 MHz amateur band.
The filter can handle 100 W continuous RF power. A surge arrestor is also fitted to the filter.

Please note we have recently changed the box used for this filter and the photo shows a 70 MHz filter that uses the same box.
