This is a REFURBISHED 30 hz to 26.5 ghz unit , but with the optional mixers that can be supplied, you can achieve 40ghz + testing!
I have reduced this by 3000$ from the usual selling price so this is a steal! get it while you can! when the economy pics back up Ill be increasing it back to 13,000$!
Teknet is selling this for 12,000 right now. with a 5 day inspection period. stating tested OK in our lab. Teknet never sells any units without warranty and calibration unless there are issues. I guarantee their listed unit has a mixer with holes(bad mixer) that will need a 3500$ repair or will not calibrate.

This has a Brand new mixer tower rhythm assembly realignment and calibration with 15 page data report with all specs for perfect accuracy measurements! by calright instruments in san diego.
the frequency range covers 30hz to 26.5 ghz on this unit ! thats pretty much the entire range! this unit was discontinued in 2001 so its a recent model.
This is a 1998 model 8563E Signal spectrum analyzer The E signifies it is synthesized and much more selectional than the Cheap A and B series .
**Pre-Owned Unit** - A companion Mass Memory Module, the Agilent 85620A / HP 85620A, plugs onto the rear panel. Use 128K bytes of built-in, battery-backed RAM of the HP 85620A to store at least 10 downloadable programs (DLP's) or more than 100 traces. This module has the capability to generate 'smart' limit lines to track the analyzers' settings and automatically adjust to the changes. With the built-in clock, auto-save, and auto-execute capabilities of the Mass Memory Module, the HP 8561A and 8562A/B can automatically make measurements at specified times or when specific frequency/amplitude criteria are met
the main difference between the 8562E and 8563E is that the 3 has I larger frequency span.
All buttons, knob, outputs , and inputs and both ref sources(rear 10 mhz ref and front 300mhz cal out ref) work great. crt is in perfect condition with no screen burn or significant sign of aging. Its still super bright and perfectly focused. .
The Agilent 8563E spectrum analyzer is a wide band, very sensitive receiver. It works on the principle of "super-heterodyne receiver" to convert higher frequencies (normally ranging up to several 10s of GHz) to measurable quantities. The received frequency spectrum is slowly swept through a range of pre-selected frequencies, converting the selected frequency to a measurable DC level (usually logarithmic scale), and displaying the same on the CRT of the Agilent 8563E. The CRT displays received signal strength (y-axis) against frequency ( x-axis).
Some applications for Agilent 8563E Spectrum Analyzers include Site Monitoring: Verify that the frequency and signal strength of your transmitter is accurate. Interference: Before a system is installed you use a Agilent 8563E spectrum analyzer to verify that the frequencies (you plan to use) are not occupied or if the presence of a very strong signal will interfere with your new setup. Interference can be created by a number of different situations. Other tests that utilize the Agilent 8563E spectrum analyzer features include antenna isolation, co-channel interference, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, intermodulation, microwave or satellite antenna alignment, and characterization of components.

It offers a complete solution for adjacent-channel power (ACP) testing of burst carrier signals using digital modulation, and the ability to measure occupied bandwidth percentage. For millimeter applications that don't require full microwave coverage, the 8563E with the Agilent 11970 series harmonic mixers or Agilent 11974 series preselected mixers is a lower-cost solution

For test equipment I am very knowledgeable with SRS and HP agilent equipment : pricing , testing,reconditioning, and fixing basic issues. Every price that is listed is a price that the same unit sold for before at least a few times. I am not like the other dealers who list for rediculous prices that no one has ever bought it for in hopes they can make themselves rich. All my prices sci elec test instruments are fair going rate prices.

This unit only has 3950 hours on it! Its still a baby. I have another one for sale for the same price with 20,000 hours and it works just as good as this one.And Ive sold one for 13,000$ a few months ago that had 50,000 hours on it with brand new calibration as well and was working like new still!
