VWR Signature chillers provide a clean, reliable source of temperature-controlled fluid for open tanks and closed loop systems. They eliminate scale buildup, sewerage cost, and tap water cooling expenses.
These 4.1L (1.1gal.) chillers provide high cooling at low cost, have a convenient digital read and set display, and are available in two pump versions. The standard magnetic drive centrifugal pump quietly produces high flow at moderate pressure. Positive displacement pump models provide less flow but have higher adjustable pressure for more demanding applications. The modulating system maintains stable temperatures even under intermittent load conditions. Chillers have a temperature stability of 0.1 C and are equipped with 1.3cm (1/2") female NPT inlet/outlet fittings and lockable caster wheels. Temperature range: 10 to 40 C (14 to 104 F). Dimensions: 57.5Hx36.8Wx70.2Lcm (225/8x141/2x275/8").
The external pressure reducer steps down higher pressures from 10psi 45psi and is available for positive displacement pumps only. The general-purpose clear bath algicide is compatible with stainless steel and helps keep water baths clean, odor-free, and resistant to black algae. One 237mL (8oz.) bottle treats approximately 757L (200gal.). Supplied in a plastic dispenser bottle. The Dynalene HC 50 heat transfer fluid provides superior thermal stability for high or low temperatures. Fluid has a temperature range of 53 to 60 C ( 63 to 140 F), a 56 C ( 68.8 F) freezing point, and a viscosity (in centistokes) of 3.6 at 0 C and 15.1 at 40 C.
Ordering Information: Chillers are supplied with two 1.3cm (1/2") NPT x 1.3cm (1/2") HB tubing adapters, two 1.3cm (1/2") NPT x 1.6cm (5/8") HB tubing adapters, and a 2.4m (8') power cord with standard U.S. plug on 120V models, European plug on 240V models.
