The DVR-200 is designed for vacuum systems that run continuously, such as oil-filled vacuum pumps, aspirators, or with systems that are "always on", like in-house vacuum systems. When the DVR-200 is connected between a vacuum source and a piece of equipment, the vacuum valve inside the DVR opens and closes so as to regulate pressure inside the attached piece of equipment to within 1 mmHg.
