This is an excellent way to start your own embroidery business or add to an existing one! The Melco EMT 10T is a single-head machine with 10-color capacity. Any fabric item can be embroidered, including caps, garments, and fabric panels.
We bought this machine used from a local embroidery franchise in July 2007 who used it on the side for extra capacity and rush jobs. We used it in our home business until Dec. 2009 and have used it little since. During the time we ran it, we had it cleaned and serviced twice by a Melco certified technician. The last time was towards the end of our using it. It runs well and is easy to learn and operate. See the list below of extras we are including that will help you start embroidering right away.
1000 stitches per minute capacity
Outline trace for accurate positioning
Thread break sensors stop the machine and back up to point of breakage for restart
Hoop limit warning if design will not fit within hoop chosen
Fast forward or back up within any design
Speed can be increased or decreased during stitching process
Machine will automatically resume design at the point of stoppage if a power failure occurs. (I had to use this once, really cool!)
