Prestolite 20 hp 96 vdc series wound electric motor

The original motor was for the Jet Electrica 007, based on the Dodge Omni 024 fastback converted by Jet Industries in Austin, Texas. I bought the motor in 1984 to convert my '69 MGB-GT into electric. The project died when I drove ~0.5 miles and blew the main transistor; that and graduating from college the next summer.
